Miter Saw Blades
A miter blade or miter saw (also called mitre saw) is a special saw blade used to make accurate crosscuts (Crosscut saws have teeth that are designed to cut wood at a right angle to the direction of the wood grain) and miters in a work piece. A mitre or miter joint is a joint made by beveling each of two parts to be joined, usually at a 45° angle, to form a corner, usually a 90° angle. It is often used in making picture frames.
In woodwork, it is one way of joining two pieces of moulding that meet at an angle. (Compare to the cope cut.) In carpentry it is a joint to create a pleasing look to skirting boards (base trim or base board) and architrave (a decorative strip of wood) forming a frame around a door or window or any feature requiring a moulding or a border. It is a popular method of joining as it is easy and attractive.
Dimar Miter Saw Blades are Precision quality saw blades especially suitable for Miter Saw Machines, compatible with known brand names.
